Breathe On The Amber Embers Of My Heart

I was watching a TV program featuring the guest Billye Brim of Prayer Mountain in Branson, Mo. USA. Billye was sharing a vision that a man had for her ministry The word of the Lord the man had for Billye Brim was, “There are ambers all over prayer mountain.” After that word she began to study about Amber. She found out the amber (worn as jewelry) was made from tree resin. Also the Lord was showing her that we are like that amber that everytime someone lays hands on us, or God touches us in a special way that God perfectly seals those things in us, just like amber. When the Breath of God blows on us the amber turns into embers.

It amazes me how God has put things in His creation to show us more about Himself and what He is doing in us. The Lord really impressed on my heart how we are like those Ambers. The Lord put in on my heart to study about amber too. Amber is mentioned in Ezekiel 1:4, “And I looked and behold a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber out of the midst of the fire.” Amber represents God's presence and glory. Amber is formed from resin from trees and it captures and perfectly sealed whatever was there at the time it is formed. I found out 80% of the Amber in the earth comes from the Baltic area and it was formed underneath the water by the action of waves.

I talked with the leading imported in Arizona of amber. She told me that the more the amber captures the more valuable it is. That amber comes in many colors but the most expensive and rare amber is blue. Blue is symbolistic of the heavenly realm. I went on to study amber and on a web search on how amber is formed I found the International Amber Association. They say on their website: “The Living Stone.” The Living Gemstone” and then of course I thought of the word of God which tells us we are “Living Stones.” I went on to study how God's word tells us how God has sealed us; 2 Corinthians 2:22, “Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.” Ephesians 4:30, “ And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.”

Another interesting fact about amber is how they can tell how amber is real or fake. The real amber holds an electrical charge. I found out that the word, “electricity” is derived from the Greek name for Amber, electrum. This is because Amber can acquire an electric charge when rubbed.

Today I often wear an Amber necklace around my neck just to remind me that everything God has put inside me, He has perfectly sealed it and preserved it. When His Breath breathes on that Amber I will come ablaze for Him and the Amber will turn into embers of fire for His glory! That good work God began in you He will complete!
