Today is the hour that God is shifting things in His church. TODAY is the HOUR for the ministry of the Body of the Lord Jesus Christ! The day is over for those who call themselves, “the church,” or “ministry,” which is an institution ran by the agendas of men. This is the day when we don't live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Today is the hour of God's spoken word to us and written words for us, which are alive! The disciples asked Jesus at one point, “Who can enter into the Kingdom of Heaven?' Jesus answered them, “Those who do the will of my Father.” Guess what? We cannot do our own thing and enter into God's Kingdom! We must daily, lay down our desires and pick up the Lord's desires.
We can no longer see ourselves as individuals. We are a body, at the least those who do the will of Father God. I am seeing God now gather those who really have a heart for God and want to serve Him and worship Him come together as a body. (Worship being those who give their lives as a living sacrifice.) There are no Christian Celebrities in this body. There are no parts, which think they can survive on their own. But they understand, “We are the Body of Jesus Christ.” Very soon to be functioning as the Body of Christ on the earth that the gates of hell cannot prevail against! But are we really ready to die to our own agenda and ourselves? That is what we will have to do to be a part of God's Great Last Move of His Spirit.
Then the question remains, “Are you doing the will of God?” That is a question I have been asking myself, over and over again. I don't want my works burned up forever. If I chose to do my own thing, thinking God is going to go along with it. I am sadly mistaken! It's only His will and His plan that won't be burned up. 1 Corinthians 3:15 “If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss; but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.” So what am I to do? Seek the Lord daily. Understand His word and what He wants for me to do during my life here on earth. There is no other way.
It amazes me how so many ministers today really believe they are doing the will of the Lord, when what they practice is not the whole and complete word of God. They take only a part to try to give credence to what they want to do. I worked with a minister years ago, which sought the Lord and then sought God to follow the plan the Lord had spoken. Years later after obtaining some fame and recognition, suddenly he got a whole new vision. It was a vision that did not exalt the Lord, but exalted himself. How deceived can you be? Don't you know we can so easily be led into our own desires, and any work we may do will just be burned up! Scary thought to me is that all my work and effort will be gone, if I don't continually hear the word of the Lord for my life in every area. The question is, “What if I am a leader in the Body of Christ?” My judgment will be more severe if I lead people to things that feed their flesh, that just make them feel good and don't speak the whole council of the word of God. Warn, reproof them as the scripture tells us to do. I am not here to make you feel good. I am here to let you know, you must follow God. His love is greater than what we can possibly imagine. If we take advantage of that incredible sacrifice Jesus made for us, then how do we expect to escape the Great Judge Himself, God?
God is already to shifting things. Ministries believe God is going to pour out His special blessing on them. When in fact they have used the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ for their own benefit. Telling people they will have a special blessing if they give to the, “Man of God.” When what really they are operating in, is the “spirit of the Anti-Christ.” It's the same spirit that captured the heart of satan to be thrown out of heaven. Watch out. We must be so careful in this day and hour we live in. Deception is all around us. Anything we hear we must see if it lines up with the Word of God. I keep thinking about all of the rich ministries today that have taken much personal wealth for themselves and the rich man Jesus talked about in the scriptures. Matthew 19:21 Jesus said unto him, “If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou salt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.” But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions. The early church sold all that they had, so they could help the Body of Christ as a whole. They knew they were not just an island to themselves, but understood they were a part of the whole. That is where we are headed. I wonder how many leaders will be willing to give all they have, to really follow Christ? Oh, but I hear this, “God wants me to be blessed.” You see again it's all about “ME.” No, the kingdom of God is all about, “US.” It's time for the modern day Pharisees to come off their throne and allow Jesus to be Lord and King!
I dare you to ask God to really open your eyes to His word and His plan for you on the earth. Your life will never be the same again! Lord I pray, "Open the eyes of their understanding, that they may know the hope of Your calling."
